How to Operate?

These jump starters are user friendly and can be easily utilized to energize a dead engine battery through the following simple steps;

  • Attach clamps-cable into the jump-start slot of the device.
  • Switch off the ignition system of the car as well as its power consuming units like headlights, radio, etc.
  • Connect clamps with respective battery terminal or chassis frame.
  • Power “On” the device to jump start the dead battery.
  • Start the engine and remove the clamps.

These starters can work optimally in below freezing temperature as well as in blazing hot weather, hence, they can be utilized anywhere irrespective of the environmental conditions.

Jump starter Structure

Both devices characterize an identical layout with the same dimensions. These are small sized and can be managed easily within their zipper shell. Their storage shell is soft but fire resistant and safeguards the starter from exploding in case of a fire emergency. They contain 2 USB outputs, a type C input/ output port, a 12V DC port, and a jump start port. An LED torch is also present in both devices which can be used in 3 (SOS, emergency strobe, flashlight) modes. The power button on the front allows manual switching of the starter.

The only difference in their layout is color; 1500A is Grey colored while 2000A is black.

Recharging

Both devices include rechargeable batteries and can be powered up through an AC power supply as well as DC 12V sockets. Separate ports are designed over these for recharging via AC or DC sources and separate adaptors are also included in the product package. Likewise, these can be charged via a type C cable connected to 5V/ 3A USB input. Due to large capacity internal batteries, these devices usually take 4 to 6 hours to charge up to their full potential.

Internal Batteries

Nexpow 1500A takes the lead over its competitor due to its higher capacity to start a charge as its 80.66Wh Lithium polymer battery can store 21800 mA charge per hour. Conversely, 2000A has four 12V internal batteries with an internal capacity to store an 18000mA charge per hour. Both tools have a battery life extending more than 1000 cycles.

Peak Starting Current

2000A shows a higher current peak than its competitor, marking the amperage scale at the level of 2000A. Although its internal battery has a relatively lesser capacity to store charge yet its discharge ability is higher and it can quickly power up a dead battery with the heavy current influx.

On the other side, Nexpow 1500A has a larger battery capacity but offers less current influx in comparison. With a peak current rating of 1500A, it can maximally supply 1500 Amperes to a lifeless battery in one jump start.

Supported Vehicles Models

Nexpow 2000A provides a huge current influx and can be used to jump start larger heavy-duty engines of yachts, cars, and trucks. It can instantly re-operate 7 liters gas engine and 6.5 liters diesel engines.

On the other side, 1500A supports batteries of smaller engines due to its lower discharge rating. It is suitable to jump start gas engines with 6.5 liters capacity and diesel engines with only 4 liters capacity.

Safety

Both starters comply with high safety standards, incorporating systems to prevent overcharging, over-current, short circuit, over-load, over-voltage, high-temperature and reverse polarity accidents. Smart jumper cable is equipped with an LCD screen that indicates errors in polarity or connections to avoid spark triggering or short circuits.

Price

Both products are priced nearly equal and can be easily bought online or through local retailers. 2000A costs usually a few bucks higher than its competitor because it offers higher charge capacity. It is priced from $70 to $110.

However, Nexpow 1500A comes relatively cheaper and usually costs from $60 to $100.
